ICSC Holds Meeting In Jonesboro Tomorrow Yet another sign of growing interest in our region takes place as the International Council of Shopping Centers hosts a regional meeting of their membership in Jonesboro on Tuesday in an effort to give their members an in-depth look at what the market has to offer. The meeting, which will include a tour of The Mall at Turtle Creek, a reception and a program, kicks off at 3:00 pm tomorrow afternoon.
Panelists/Speakers for the event include: Bruce Burrow, Partner in MBC Holdings and Chairman of Burrow Halsey Realty Group; Ben Owens, President and CEO of St. Bernards Healthcare; Dr. Les Wyatt, President of the Arkansas State University System; and Mark Young, President and CEO of the Jonesboro Regional Chamber of Commerce.
Members were encouraged to attend "who are seeking to develop a stronger knowledge of and build relationships in the Medical, Retail, Real Estate Development, and Educational fields and how these economic engines together formulate the continuing fast-paced growth of Northeast Arkansas."
It should prove to be a big day for Jonesboro and the entire region.
